“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11: 28-30 NIV)
Whenever I have accepted this offer from the Lord, and allowed Him to carry the heaviest part of my burden, I have experienced the peace that only He can give, regardless of the circumstances in my life. Whenever I have tried to carry the load myself, it has resulted in a lot of anxiety, more than peace.
I encourage you to invite Jesus into whatever trial is facing you today, so that you can live in peace, and find the rest that He intends for you.
