Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! (Psalm 46:10 NKJV)
God has ultimate power and authority in heaven and in the earth. He knows everything, He can do all things and He is able to be everywhere at the same time. He is always there for us when we need His help. He is the Creator of all life and He causes all things to grow, yet, He is our heavenly Father and He invites us to come to Him in prayer. We can let go of our anxieties and pass them over to Him to carry for us.
Regardless of what you may be facing in your circumstances today, God is fully able to carry you through. I believe that nothing escapes His attention, and that His love and concern for us never changes. We aren’t able to see into the future but God is, so when we commit to following His lead and to trusting Him in ALL things, we really can “Be still (relax) and know that He is God!”
My prayer today is, “Lord, please help me remember that no problem that I will ever have, is too big for you. May you be glorified in my life as I learn to have more faith in you, and am able to relax as you help me through all of life’s challenges.”
