Do you know God’s vision for your life? There are so many decisions to make. So many possible paths in life we can follow. What should we do…that is the question!
The good news is that God knows the answers to our questions, and He wants us to know His plans for us. God communicates with us through several ways; His Word – the Bible, the circumstances or objects of His creation that are part of our surroundings, or directly through His Holy Spirit, as Jeremiah 33:3 promises, ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ We can be confident that we will receive divine revelation from Almighty God when we ask Him. Then, we can live in peace because we know that He will show us the things we need to know.
Knowing God’s vision for us, can help establish the parameters for everything we do, if we choose to live according to it. We always have a choice as to how we will live, but when we choose to engage in behaviours that are opposite to God’s instructions, we won’t necessarily live in peace and happiness as our heavenly Father desires for us. I encourage you to pray to Him and ask Him about the things that concern you, and about those things which you seek greater knowledge.
My prayer today is, “Lord, I’m so glad that you know everything and are willing to tell me the things I need to know. Thank you for your guidance. Please help me to know your plans for me and to be wise in how I live them out.”
